Fun Indoor Dog Toys for Post Amputation Surgery Tripawds

After surgery, Tripawds should take it easy for a little while. Too much activity can cause an icky seroma, or busted stitches. Moving around too much, too soon can wear him out and prevent a speedy recovery.

So what’s a post-surgery Tripawd supposed to do?

  1. And a good non toy entertainment is to put a few ice cubes or carrot sticks in a water dish and place it near your dog. Many dogs have fun bobbing for the treats and it has the added plus of getting your pup to take in more fluids.
