Pill Cutter for Pet Medication Makes Pilling Easy

September 29th, 2016 · 1 Comment · Products

Anyone who has a Tripawd going through amputation recovery or chemotherapy* knows that giving pet medication is a challenge. And that’s especially true when your dog or cat needs a half pill. Forget the old way of using a knife to cut your pet meds, why not try a pill cutter?

See how easy it is to use a pill cutter for pet medication:

Just ask Princess Reign’s Mom about pill cutters:

We finally purchased a pill cutter ( under $2) since getting those tiny pill into forths was impossible. Best purchase ever! I wish I would’ve had 1 when dealing with the pain meds!! So I’m recommending anyone with a smaller dog to get 1 and make life easier lol — “Monday Blahs, May 9 2016”

Although we couldn’t find any that cheap, we did find some handy dandy pill cutters for pet medication (people too!) on Amazon. Check ’em out:

This is the one you see in our video. We really like ours!

I got mine at Walgreens – less than $2. The vet split all of the prescribed pills for us, but it was useful to have for Otis’ Pepcid A/C (he got 1 1/2 pills), and for Tess, when the vet reduced her Deramax dose from 1/2 pill to 1/4.
