  1. Just ordered some 🙂 Do you remember if this is once a day or twice a day that Dr. Waldman says to do? In your quotes above she only talks of giving it in the a.m.?

  2. @maggie In Dr. Waldman’s first chat transcript, she says…

… a great supplement for all joint pain that is over-the-counter is Nature Made SAM-e – approximately, 200mg per 20lb dog, 30 minutes before eating in the morning

This tells us, once a day, in the morning, but we’ll forward this question for confirmation. Thanks for asking!

  3. This supplement will last approximately 8 hours so it can be given twice daily. Remember, 30 min before the meal on an empty stomach! It can cause soft stool so not a bad idea to start with a smaller dose and make sure they tolerate it and then build up…

  4. Thank you Dr. Waldman!!! I sooooo appreciate your helpful information! Sorry I missed the recent Live Chat! I did read the notes, however, taken by “Admin” guy 😉

  5. Wow, I’ve been taking this for myself for a few years. It often goes on sale at Walgreens, CVS or Costco two-for-one. And the Walgreens brand works just as well as NatureMade, for mood boosting anyway.
